Dr. Jonathan Lyne is a wonderful Electrocardiologist. He diagnosed my AFIB quickly & described my options clearly. Then he and his team carried out a cardiac ablation in the Beacon, during which I had the best care, before, during & after the procedure. Dr. Lyne is thorough and so calm. His follow-up care with Fiona & the team at Blackrock is efficient & so good at helping with the many questions that arise after the ablation. I can't recommend Dr. Lyne enough.

I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care I received from Dr. Lyne and his team. Before my ablation, I was struggling daily with symptoms that greatly affected my quality of life. Simple activities like walking up two flights of stairs would leave me exhausted and needing to sit down. I experienced frequent breathlessness, episodes of fainting and overwhelming fatigue that made even normal routines feel like a challenge. Since the procedure, my life has completely changed. All of my symptoms have disappeared — my breathlessness is gone and my energy levels have returned in a way I hadn’t thought possible. I’m now back to training in the gym several times a week, feeling stronger, more motivated and genuinely enjoying life again rather than just getting through the day. Prior to my ablation I was having regular unexpected episodes of "awfulness" which had a major impact on my day-to-day life — including never knowing when these episodes were going to happen or how long they were going to last for. I didn't let my family or close friends know the severity of it all. It was a pretty dismal time for me.
I am pleased to say that since my ablation I have had no recurrence of symptoms whatsoever. Life is good.
I am so grateful and happy that I've even just got this length of time (one year) without having those awful unexpected episodes. I of course would like to get another bit of time free from A.Fib but I'm just so grateful for the past year.
