An expert in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to cardiac rhythm. Dr Lyne graduated with distinctions in Medicine & Surgery from Cambridge University in 1998. His specialist training and research in Cardiology, Electrophysiology (Ablation), Cardiac Devices and Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging was undertaken at the largest specialist Heart and Lung Hospitals in Europe.

Ms Fiona Kehoe

Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist

Fiona Kehoe is an Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist. She works with Professor Jonathan Lyne treating patients with a range of cardiac arrhythmias. She has 15 years of specialist clinical expertise, supporting patients undergoing EP studies, ablations, insertion of cardiac devices and atrial fibrillation.

Fiona carried out her primary nurse training in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. She was awarded a Certificate in Postgraduate Professional Development in Arrhythmia Management from the University of Teesside in Middlesbrough and a Higher Diploma in Cardiovascular Nursing Studies from UCD. She previously worked in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital where she provided consultative nursing and education to patients, relatives, and staff on all aspects of arrhythmia management.

Fiona continues to regularly give educational talks and presentations on aspects of arrhythmia nursing. She recently spoke at the Annual CardioVascular Nursing conference about Deactivation of Implantable defibrillators. She also presented at the Irish Nurses Cardiac Rehabilitation Annual Conference on modifiable risk factors in atrial fibrillation.
